Towing Socks, Chinese Fingers, or Pulling Grips are used to pull pipe above or below ground. The harder the pull, the tighter the grip.
Commonly used to install pipe or conduit using directional drilling rig (HDD) or vibratory plow.
Wire mesh tube with an eye at one end. The pulling eye is flexible and stress relieving. Manufactured of Hi-Fatigue plastic-coated Aircraft Strand steel cable in a crisscross weave design.
Plastic coated strands increase the life of the grip and provide a bearing surface on underground pulls to increase the ease and safety of installation and removal.
