Two tools are available to stop-off 3/4″-2″ service branches.
- #46-A1911 ¾”-1 ¼” Small Service Terminator
- #46-A1912 1 ½”-2” Large Service Terminator
Uses a non-hazardous mastic to stop the flow of gas to the branch.
#46-A1016 10 psi Service Terminator Mastic supplied in boxes of 8 x 2 lbs. sticks per box.
How does it work?
Step 1. Clean a small section on the service branch.
Step 2. A small hole is drilled Gas-Free into the service branch and a special one part non-hazardous mastic is injected into the service providing a temporary stop.
Step 3. Remove Service Terminator and cut through the center of the injection hole.
Step 4. The pipe can now be cut and capped without the release of gas.
